Why We Exist?

Every Nation Macau is a member of Every Nation Churches and Ministries, a worldwide movement of churches. As a member church, we subscribe to the Every Nation mission:

To honor God and establish
Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered,
socially responsible churches
and campus ministries in every nation

Our mission describes why we exist, what we do, how we build, and where we go.

1. Why? To honor God.

Our starting point is the honor of God. Our goal is the honor of God. Our motive is the honor of God. The chief end of Victory is to “honor Him and enjoy Him forever.” This is foundational for understanding why we do what we do. It is all about Him, not us.

2. What? To establish churches and campus ministries.

We are a church that is called to plant new churches and campus ministries that reach every major high school and college campus in the world.

3. How?

Christ-centered

Every Nation churches and campus ministries are to be centered on Jesus Christ, not for any man, doctrine, or experience to take center stage.

17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

Colossians 1:17, 18

Spirit-empowered

Every Nation churches and campus ministries welcome and celebrate the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to empower us to live lives that honor God and become effective witnesses to our community.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 1:8

Socially Responsible

Every Nation churches and campus ministries are to demonstrate Christ to the community and culture that they’re in.

Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.

Proverbs 14:31

“He will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ “

Matthew 25:45

4. Where?

Every nation

19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19,20

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.
